Northern Rivers Candlelight Memorial To Commemorate Loved Ones Lost To HIV/AIDS

10/05/2012 The Northern Rivers annual remembrance event for people lost to HIV/AIDS will take place this year in May to coincide with similar international events.

The 2012 Northern Rivers Candlelight Memorial will take place on Friday 25 May and will be held in the Cedar Room at the Lismore Neighbourhood Centre on Carrington St in Lismore. The hour-long ceremony will begin at 6pm.

13/01/2012 - The Oxford Street Safety Project (OSSP) is a collaboration between ACON's Anti-Violence Project and Will Field, a 22 year old gay man who initiated the very successful, first Drag Tag event in Oxford St in April 2011. The result is the Oxford Street Safety Project, incorporating the drag event as an important component of a broader initiative to increase community safety around the Oxford Street precinct.
