Positive Retreat 2011

Come along to this free retreat and get recharged before the Christmas rush.
HIV positive Aboriginal people living in NSW (and a plus one) are invited to register their interest to join us in a retreat from Friday 16 December until Monday 19 December 2011. Come along and enjoy four nights in your own room in lovely resort style accommodation.
This year we will be kicking off the festive season with relaxation, art sessions, good yarns and the latest information about living well with HIV.
The retreat aims to support holistic health - physically, mentally and spiritually - by providing:
- Culturally appropriate respite
- Relaxation and recreational activities
- An opportunity to connect and share information with others living with HIV/AIDS
- Access to professional workers, treatments and other support services
All sessions are voluntary so you can participate in as little or as many sessions as you wish.
The retreat is particularly valuable for those living in rural and regional areas who may not have regular access to HIV support services in their areas. All aspects of the retreat are conducted in the strictest confidentiality and the privacy of all participants is respected.
