The ACON Gay Asian Men’s Project provides targeted information and support services to improve and maintain the health and wellbeing of gay Asian men in NSW.

We’re committed to:

• Understanding and actively reducing the impact of HIV and STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) in gay Asian men in NSW
• Understanding and addressing health and wellbeing issues that are specific to gay Asian men in NSW
• Strengthening the community networks for gay Asian men in NSW by partnering with groups and organisations that support them

Did you know?

• Around one in five NSW residents speaks a language other than English at home
• In 2008, men of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds accounted for almost 18% of new HIV notifications among men who have sex with men
