Asset-Based Community Development
Asset-Based Community Development contrasts with traditional problem-solving philosophies by focusing on the assets and strengths of a community rather than its needs and weaknesses. This is an approach that has been embraced by ACON since its beginning but the emergence of a theoretical framework to describe what we do has provided a useful tool for engaging with our partners in program delivery.
