Queerscreen & Mardi Gras Film Festival need your stories!

Award winning filmmaker Tony Radevski is directing a short documentary to be screened at the Mardi Gras Film Festival in February 2012. The film will cover the stories of HIV Positive members of the Community.  Through the film, they hope to get away from the politicised environment and mythology around being Positive, and simply give participants a chance to express themselves and talk about their own personal experience.

They are looking for participants located in NSW (or who can come to NSW to be interviewed) who became positive recently (e.g. in the 2000s) and also participants who have been positive for some time (e.g. since the 80s or 90s).

They understand this is a sensitive subject and therefore want to be transparent as possible about who is making it. The film is a Runtime Pictures ( http://www.rntm.com.au) production, in association with Opening Act Films (www.openingactfilms.com) and Queerscreen (http://www.queerscreen.com.au/).
