Vitamin Service
The ACON vitamin service is a non-profit service that aims to provide quality vitamins and nutritional supplements at the lowest possible price to people with HIV/AIDS.
Our product list is based on advice from dieticians, HIV/AIDS practitioners and naturopaths via the Complementary Therapies Advisory Group.
Many therapists have ACON Vitamin scripts in their consulting rooms. If they don't, we can post or email you a copy or you can download a form. The script expires after six (6) months and is confidentially stored at the service. Go to (link)for more information or to download a form.
The service is governed by the Therapeutic Goods Act (1989), which oversees the packaging, sale and advertising of all therapeutic substances. The Vitamin Service works on a script basis because of the Act.
What you need to access the service
- A letter of recommendation or ACON script form signed by your dietician, GP or complementary therapist indicating which vitamins/supplements suit your needs

Please note we cannot give advice or recommend the use of any particular product as outlined by the Therapeutic Goods Act. This is the role of your dietician, GP or therapist.
