Groups
Genesis
Who is it For?: Gay men who have been diagnosed with HIV within the last two years.
Duration: One weekend (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday)
Genesis is an educational and experiential weekend workshop for men who are newly diagnosed, held in collaboration with Positive Life NSW. Get the latest info on HIV Treatments, Safer sex, disclosure and many more important topics. A great opportunity to discuss and learn among your peers.

Nexus
Who is it For?: Gay men recently diagnosed with HIV
When: 7pm to 9pm, 4th Monday of each month. There is a 12 month limit on attendance.
Nexus is a peer support/discussion group run by the HIV Men’s Health Promotion team at ACON. It is designed to offer men newly diagnosed with HIV the opportunity to address a wide range of psycho-social issues through group discussion with their peers.

Planet Positive
Who is it For?: HIV+ people and their friends, partners and carers.
When: 6pm to 10pm, 3rd Friday, quarterly
A social night for HIV positive people and their supporters, in partnership with Positive Life NSW and ACON’s HIV Health Promotion Team.

Women’s Gatherings
Who is it For?: Women with HIV
When: The third Monday of every month 10 am until 2pm.
A FREE Lunch is provided The aim of the Women’s Day is to provide a nurturing environment for HIV positive women to engage in fun activities, whilst developing friendships and support networks, building knowledge and awareness on health & wellbeing, and information on services that are available to women and families. It is run by The Women & Families Affected by HIV Project, based at the PLC.
