Unlike the gay and bisexual men’s communities, there are no venues that operate as lesbian sex on premises venues full time in Sydney or NSW. However, there are a number of private parties and one-off events at venues and spaces in larger dance parties that cater for sex on premises for women in NSW. Sex venues follow different guidelines depending on the event. However, all must adhere to certain standard guidelines that help ensure the safety and comfort of their patrons.

If you choose to visit a sex venue, remember that you're not obliged to have sex with anyone if you don't want to and attending as a voyeur is perfectly acceptable. Events will often have coding systems such as different coloured arm bands indicating whether you are willing to be approached by others in the venue for sex.
