The Young Women's Project (YWP) organises events every year as part of the Mardi Gras Youth Festival, in the past we have held art exhibitions, an all-day workshop on gender play, and the launch of the sexual health resource The Birds & the Birds: Sex(y) Ed for Sapphic Sisters (see our Community Arts-Based Projects section). This year we held Sassy Safari - a wild performance night exploring mental health and resilience, and launching the fabulous Sassy Safari trading cards!

The Young Women's Project also runs a number of different events and forums throughout the year. These include the "After Dark" forums at MaXXX Black Adult Store, where you can meet other women, sip champagne and nibble on cupcakes while you find out everything you ever wanted to know about lesbian sex and sexuality.
