What We Do

| Participating in our programs gives you an opportunity to meet other same-sex attracted women. © Josephine Ki |
The ACON Young Women's Project is run by and for same sex-attracted women 26 years and under. We run workshops and events which explore issues affecting our community such as coming out, sex and sexual health, relationships, homophobia and much more. Participating in our programs also gives you an opportunity to meet other same-sex attracted women in a safe, fun & social environment.
The Young Women’s Project runs a workshop called Ins & Out which runs one night a week for seven weeks. The Young Women’s project also runs special events such as community forums, exhibitions and social events.
Volunteers are absolutely vital to the success of the Young Women’s Project. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us.
